Sponsor linux.conf.au 2010

linux.conf.au is one of the world's best free and open source software developer community conferences. A purely volunteer effort, it is hosted in a different Australasian city each year, and attracts some of the best minds in the world of Free and Open Source Software.

LCA2010 will be held in Wellington, New Zealand, between Monday 18 January 2010 and Friday 22 January 2010. In true open source spirit, linux.conf.au is a volunteer run conference making LCA2010 reliant on sponsorship to help make the conference into a successful and memorable event.

This will be only the second time that LCA has come to New Zealand. It will be New Zealand's opportunity to present Linux and free and open source software to the New Zealand Community, and to present New Zealand's burgeoning open source industry to the rest of the world. Wellington's central location and the time of year should help give good coverage for LCA2010.

Approximately 450 speakers, delegates, volunteers and organisers from the international free and open source software community and industry will participate in LCA2010. Over half the attendees identify themselves as Professional Delegates providing strong opportunity to promote your brand to a number of influential business professionals. This is a truly international conference, and we are expecting around two thirds of delegates to be from outside of New Zealand.
