Revision as of 13:41, 14 January 2010
Birds of a Feather sessions (BOFs) are discussion forums, hands-on interactive tutorials, or intensive hackfests that provide an opportunity for informal discussion on a particular topic. BoFs are usually informal, and often adhoc.
You are welcome to organise your own BoF on any topic, at any time during LCA2010, but if you wish to use the conference rooms to host these you will need to book in an available rooms + timeslot below.
Up until 15 January 2010, you can reserve a BOF timeslot by entering your name, and BOF topic in any available timeslot on the BOFs Schedule below.
After 15 January 2010, the BOFs Schedule will only be available on a poster in the Registration area. To reserve a BOF timeslot, write your name and BOF topic in any available timeslot on the poster.
If there are any notes/resources you would like attendees to have, please create a wiki page in the BOFs Schedule and upload the notes/resources to that page.
The following room is available for BOFs during conference sessions:
| Where | Civic Suite 3 |
| When | Wednesday 20 January to Friday 22 January 2010 |
BOFs are a privilege that only conference delegates receive. If you would like to attend or organise a BOF, you will need to register and pay to attend the conference.
